Description
Box (Buxus sempervirens) This specimen is an overgrown shrub and is now very tall. It is located on a steep slope making it difficult to maintain plus it blocks views from the Italian Garden to the River Manifold and parkland beyond. We propose to reduce the height/crown of this specimen by approximately 50% so it is around 2m high. This will ensure its longevity, open up views and allow it to become part of the group of adjacent box shrubs to the south.
