Tree 1: Cherry, Tag:1703 Large included bark union with large crack forming in bark. Reduce branch by 2m to reduce weight on week union. Tree 2: Holly, Tag 1702 Poor vitality, reduction with the view that it may well need removing in the near future. Sparse crown. Stem cankers throughout. Dieback and lions tailing in upper crown. Heavy reduction to second crown removing 1/3 of crown. Tree 3: Indian Horse Chestnut, Tag 0019, Multiple stem wounds / target cankers - percussion test indicates significant stem decay around target cankers. Slender stem. Small crown. risk of stem failure. remove tree leaving stump just above ground. New tree to be planted as replacement in 2026-27 plant schedule.
