Description

Apple tree on the Location Map, that is showing signs of toppling over. It is leaning over from vertical, by 30%. The root system is failing and the soil around the root-zone is showing signs of fissuring. This tree is located within the children’s play area, right next to the sand pit and newly planted apple orchard. PROOF OF TREE FAILING: a. Apple tree_1 & Apple tree_2 show the extent by which the tree is leaning over; b. Apple tree_3 shows the fissuring of soil around the root zone SCOPE OF WORKS: a. To ease weight by removing of lower limbs; b. To make the tree safe by means of felling; c. Tree to be felled once felling direction has been confirmed; d. No pruning of the trunk is required, as there is no epicormic growth present; e. Felling cut method to be decided when work commences; f. Once tree is safely felled, will it be reduced into manageable pieces. Site cleared and pedestrian footpath reopened afterwards.
