Description

The southern section of the highway in the Conservation Area is Tree Survey 6 month priority trees to be felled. On the west side of the highway there is a hedgerow containing young small numerous groups of ash in Stages 3 and 4 as well as dead stems marked red to be felled. On the East side a triple stem ash next to the stream with ash dieback. Replanting by natural regeneration. The northern section of the highway going into Barber Booth within the Conservation Area, Tree Survey 28 day priority, the trees are more severely affected by ash dieback at Stages 3, 4 and dead, marked red to be felled. A long group on the west side of the highway and smaller groups but more severely affected ash stems on the east side. Natural regeneration on the west with the hedgerow, going into a steep wooded bank. Replanting with native species on the east as the land is more flat and less overshadowing of trees once felling has taken place.
